Helping Build

Monthly Updates – January 2022

COVID-19 has impacted us all, but we’re determined to continue fighting against homelessness.

How We Started 2022

In 2022 we have several housing projects we’re working on to help end homelessness, including upgrades to 10 Homes for the homeless community in St. Augustine. We also plan to assist the City Rescue Mission and the women and children’s center at Trinity’s Rescue Mission.

Team KeHE, made of nine extraordinary women, did a fantastic job on the St. Augustine project!

I’m deeply thankful to Debbie Reeding, Executive Director, St. John’s Homeless Coalition, for allowing us to serve this community.

We were also able to complete another apartment in the St. John’s Homeless Coalition project, bringing the total of apartments completed for the homeless population to three! Tonight, someone gets to sleep safely because of this hard work!

How You Can Help

Our needs list has also been updated for those who would like to donate. Click Here to find out what people in our community currently need!

Volunteers are always needed and appreciated in our mission; if you want to know how you can help your community, head here.

We provide support internationally as well!

We work with La Cocinita and several other organizations in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Find out more about our international activities and how you can help here.

We’re looking for volunteers to help bring stories to children!

Aurora Community Outreach has created a story time event for children who may not necessarily have the opportunity to access reading material regularly. ‘The Storybook Nook’ will travel around bringing snacks, craft items, books, and an hour-long reading session to children in need.
